Shop and Get the Best Deal

If you love to comparison shop, remember to download the application on your smart phone that reads barcodes. Scanning barcodes on your mobile phone saves the hassle of running around from store to store, fighting crowds, and cutting out coupons. No longer is it necessary to “shop till you drop.” Instead you can shop and get the best deal.
Many cell phones have the capability of helping you find the best deal. This includes ShopSavvy and Red Laser for the iPhone and Android and ScanLife for the BlackBerry.
Many merchants have become mobi-savvy. They honor their competitor’s prices when shown to them on smart phones by customers. In fact, some of the retail store’s employees carry around mobile devices and offer to check competitor’s pricing for you. Now that’s what I call great customer service.
After downloading the application, test it. Go to your favorite store and scan the bar code of an item. You’ll soon discover if your favorite store has the best price. If not, don’t get upset and leave. Ask the manager if he’ll match the price. You may just save yourself a trip to another store. There are some stipulations to price matching, such as the competitor’s store must be located in the same city.
Getting discounts makes shopping fun. Now shop with the confidence of knowing you didn’t over pay for that hard to find gift. After all, getting the best deal satisfies that competitive hunger in all of us.

Aunt Rita

I’m numb. My aunt, my ally, my friend is gone, forever. How can I possibly bring myself to attend your funeral when all I want is to hear you say my name again. See the sparkle in your eyes. Reminisce about granny and the good old days.
Your smile always came easily and your hugs were genuine. You were quick to welcome my friends and put them at ease. Whenever your children needed a sitter, you were there.
Aunt Rita, I thought our journey would continue much longer than this. At least that was the plan. Remember? Many of us were ready and willing to give up a kidney so that you could continue living a quality life. Free from dialysis.
Our plan failed. It’s a mystery. No one knows the reason, we just know the result. You’re gone. Free from pain, but the pain caused by your death is killing me.
I love you Aunt Rita.
